Maggie had her 1st taste of cake today. We decided to have a small early birthday party for her since Mike will miss her 1st birthday in December. At first Maggie was not sure what was going on, but she got the hang of it. By the time she was done with her bath, the water was pink. Thanks to Courtney for making a great cake for Maggie and cupcakes for everyone else. ( She also took some great pictures for us too. ) Maggie seemed to enjoy herself even tho she wasn't feeling to great. Getting teeth and having a horrible cold at the same time cannot be fun, I only have a cold and have been feeling miserable. It was a great way to spend our day and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

I'm so glad you guys did this. I was sad for Maggie, thinking that Mike would miss her birthday. She is too cute in her cake destroying pictures.
i am sooo glad to see you did this to!!!! Courtney made that cake, great cake and great color!!! Some how cakes makes everything ok...for awhile!
i love the picture of Mike and Maggie...I also love that you can see the picture of your grandpa and grandma hanging on the wall behind them!!
sure wish I had been there but I'll catch the real birthday. Looks like she loved Courtney's icing! Hope to see you guys soon.
