Summer 09

Wow, its been awhile again since I have been on here. Have not had much free time lately and the last thing I have really wanted to do was get on the computer while Maggie is sleeping. Anyway, I have posted some pictures on our Mobile Me Gallery so go there to check them out.

We had a wonderful 4TH of July at the beach, Maggie enjoyed her 1st parade. We just got back from Maggie's first camping trip, which went great. Its amazing how much Maggie is growing and changing everyday.

Wow, its been a long time.

I just realized that April was the last time that I posted anything.  Time sure is flying by.  Maggie is ever changing, moving all over the place and really starting to try to talk.  We cannot believe she is 18 months.  I have many pictures that I want to post and my goal is to be on here more with more updates and pictures.  

The bathroom is done for the most part, we have some cosmetic things that we still need to do but we have been taking are time with them.  We have a working toilet and that was the most important thing to me.  No more having to trek down the stairs in the middle of the night, if needed.  I will get some pictures up soon, I have not taken some for awhile.  

Outside

We are so ready for nice weather to be here.  Maggie loves to be outside and cannot get enough of it.  She has mastered going down the slide by herself which she has been dying to do on her own.  Maggie is really coming into her own personality, she still thinks she is hilarious.  Right now her favorite thing to do is point to herself and say "Mama", "Dada", "Nana" and "Papa", all with a huge grin on her face knowing that she is none of them.

So yesterday as we were goofing around the house Maggie showed me how she would like to wear her shirt. I am not sure who she has been hanging out with or getting fashion advice from but she thought this was the greatest thing ever. I am not sure if I should be worried or not.

This is the first time since Maggie has started walking that she has been on the beach.  Lets just say she has no fear.  Which by the way made Mike's day, he cannot wait to have her out on a surfboard.

A couple of weeks ago we ( Mike, Maggie and I ) ventured down to California.  We survived a plane ride with a 15 month old.  Maggie did great on both the flights, we were really surprised how well it went.  Originally it was just going to be Mike heading down to meet up with some friends to climb Mt. Whitney.  It was kind of last minute but it worked out wonderfully. We stayed with our friends Teresa and Demian and their two boys.  Mike got some great pictures of the climb and I got some great pictures of Maggie really starting to explore the world.  I also discovered that Maggie loves to be on a trampoline.
