One week down, how many more to go?

So its been almost a full week since Mike has been gone.  It feels like the 1st week has gone by slowly.  I am sure part of that was not being able to talk to him and Maggie being sick.  It seems like she has been sick forever.  We finally made it to the doctors this past week and she developed an ear infection.  Last night was the first real good night of sleep for both of us.  

I have been able to talk to Mike yesterday and today.  That has made things easier, its amazing how a phone call can change your day.  He sounds tired but in a good mood, he doesn't have much to say so we mostly talk about how Maggie is doing and what she has been up to.  I told him today I am enjoying the king size bed to myself, I have already moved to the middle of it and added more blankets.  Betty is staying at Mike's parents house while we are having work done on the backyard so she enjoying herself.  Maggie and I spent the day over at their house so we got to play with Betty and get out of the house as well.  

I am hoping the next couple of months go by quickly, I'm sure once we get into a routine it will be better.  Maggie sure is keeping me busy so I have that going for me! : )
